Spring Wedding

The rain threatened all day long, but graciously held off until the reception was in full swing for this Hawk Inn wedding last Saturday. The orange, coral, light yellow and peach color scheme was a bright addition for this overcast day. These colors really stood out against all the fresh bright green. The Hawk has a great lantern lined bridge which guests cross to the ceremony site and reception tent.
The arch was decorated with coordinating arrangements which were later moved into the tent to decorate the guest book table and cake table.
The bride's bouquet consisted of light yellow cymbidium orchids, peach roses, orange spray roses and tulips. The beautiful stem wrap was originally a part of the bride's dress!
Another view of the bridal bouquet.
Bridesmaid bouquets were made smaller, using the same flowers as the bride's with the exception of orchids.
Cake top was made with small roses and alstromeria. The beautiful cake was provided by Delicate Decadence of Barre, Vermont.
