Food Favors

Trying to decide what to do for your wedding favors? There are so many options, but I think food is always a great choice. And to give your guests a taste of something made in Vermont is an especially sweet thing!
Vermont maple products of any kind, syrup, maple candy, maple fudge or maple sugar among other items always make great favors. Small bottles of syrup, bulk maple candies or individually packaged candies can be purchased from numerous sugarmakers around the state.

Maple candy is available is many different shapes such as hearts and leaves. These little "pilgrim people" from Pieces of Vermont are very retro and fun!

Who doesn't like chocolate? Vermont has many great chocolatiers. Lake Champlain Chocolates is one of the most widely recognized names. A variety of delicious chocolates, either boxed or in bulk, can be purchased from their store or online. Laughing Moon Chocolates has some equally delicious options such as these chocolate dipped cookies that you could package individually! In addition to these two, there are many other Vermont chocolate companies.

Mama's Kettle Corn makes fantastic organic popcorn in different flavors that can be added to your candy or snack bar.

Some other items to consider are jams and jellies, either homemade or from a farmers market, specialty chocolate dipped pretzels, honey, apples from a local orchard, small packages of Vermont made cheese, or specialty teas or coffee. Everything can be personalized with your initials, names, wedding date or logo.
