A Few Shots of the Garden

Peonies are one of my favorite early summer flowers, so much so that my garden keeps mysteriously sprouting new varieties! Not without a little help from my fantastic local peony farm though!
Peonies are a popular choice for brides this time of year. It doesn't take many to make a nice size bouquet or centerpiece. They look gardeny yet sophisticated all at once. They're billowy and fluffy, and they smell great, bonus!
Anenome style peony above.
Double petal varieties above and below.
I also have a burgundy and a green single I planted last fall that aren't blooming this year. Keeping my fingers crossed for a bounty next year!

A coral colored favorite has already gone by.
The petals on this single petaled variety resemble crepe paper.
This isn't a peony but had to share anyway! Lavender bed is just about to bloom. Smells heavenly...mmmmm. Going into a couple of bouquets soon!
