Voodoo Roses

I am a couple weeks behind in posting this wedding, but it works out to your benefit as the bride shared some photos from her photographer which are shown at the end of this post.
This autumn day on Killington was absolutely gorgeous except for the wind!! It was so incredibly windy that I waited until the last possible minute to set the large glass vases next to the arch. I weighted them down as much as possible by filing them to the top with water and adding several stones to each! I was so glad they made it through the ceremony without blowing over!
This wedding took place on the pond at the Killington Grande Resort complete with a beautiful view of the ski slopes in the background. All bouquets were made with bright orange "voodoo" roses.
The sweetheart table sprinkled with voodoo rose petals, was set in front of the window with the same beautiful view in the background.
Centerpieces made with a floating candle, colored glass and submersible lights were provided by the bride and groom, while I added the finishing touches of a voodoo rose and petals.
The last three photos were sent to me by the bride. Her photographer was Kingdom Wedding Photography located in Northern Vermont. I never actually met the bride in person as she was planning from out of state, so it was great to see these photos!
I love this beautiful cake made by Julie Lane, owner of Slice from Life. The orange roses are actually made with frosting to look exactly like Voodoo roses!
The beautiful bride with her bouquet of orange roses, hypericum berries and seeded eucalyptus.
This photo is so much fun! Jumping for joy as it was such a great day!!
Congratulations Trish and Dario!!
